Autumn, here I am again
I’m different now, to how I was back then
But in autumn, I still remember when
Once, you were my only friend

Winter, it’s still my favourite time
When it gets colder, and there are longer nights
But this year, to my surprise
It’s autumn, that makes me warm inside

I cant say what I want, can't say what I mean
I've been changing colour, losing all my leaves
By winter they'll have buried me down deep
When autumn's done I'll sleep my final sleep

Wind is howling, pulling down the trees *
I am walking, back through rustling leaves
Storm is rising, coming down on me
But it's okay, that’s how it's meant to be

Seasons changing and I’m changing too
Time is passing I no longer think of you
I think of other those only passing through
All the lovers I never really knew

It’s all around me now I’ve found it

I’ve been suppressing my expression

I had come up against the wall
